My first foray into publicly bearing my soul via the written word. Play nice…

Hey, I’m James (AKA Jimmy, Millhouse, Obsesso…)

I’m in my mid-30’s and I’m good with that. I’m a husband, new dad, surfer, corporate-world escapee, start-up business owner, risk taker, traveller, financial planner (money nerd), self-educator, mentor and joker.

In 1999, at the age of 17, I took my first solo overseas trip. Ever since then I’ve been infatuated with travel, and as a result, learning new things.

I’ve also spent a decade working one-on-one with clients as a financial planner, and as a leader and motivator of large teams. This meant having many deep conversations.
